Knights Development History

Knights Basketball History

Established in 2009, Knights Basketball is the most successful kids and teenage Basketball training and game club in the St George area, Sydney.

In the past 14 years, the Knights teams have won a total of 98 trophies / medals (56 championships, 41 runner-ups and 1 bronze medal at an international tournament). These excellent achievements are the fruits of all the parents and athletes of Knights working together and tenaciously.

Our parents bring their positive energy to the teams, share joys and sorrows with Knights, and under any situations they never retreat, and instead always stand up and protect the team. They also take the initiative to volunteer and undertake the works of Mangers and Coaches for each team, and all parents are actively cooperating through their strong support, dedication and hard work.

Knights has a strong young coach team from parents to old athletes, and more than 20 of them have been licensed ( all issued by the Australian government). They take on the important tasks of training and playing, along with their superb basketball skills and many years of experience to guide the young players with all their heart and responsibility. They always do their best in their job, study, training, games and coaching. In particular, one of their parents who is both a coach and a sponsor of Knights, uses his love to help our team continuously improve greater achievements. At the end of this season, all 10 of our teams have made it to the semi finals, which is an excellent result. Now other parents are willing to do their part for our team. This is a group photo of some of the coaches in Knights.

Under the guidance of role models, whether it’s in training, on the court they all do their best!! For their own team, even though the athletes are injured or sick, they never insist on leaving the court. It tells us that young players always have to rely on their team confidence, in order to dominate each game and preserve until the last second, which completely explains knights motto is to not say defeat, and never give up on their sports spirit!

Knights Basketball Testimonials | Max Ge

"I feel included when I was the Captain for U10s.The coaches led me to an amazing basketball team and I always wanted to be a captain of a team. My training was a little bit long and hard, but I pushed through and made my way to games .After a few seasons of working hard and playing in the U10s, I felt like I had improved a lot. It was all because of Knights and professional training."

Max started training with Knights when he was 7 years old. Under the patient and professional guidance of the coach, his skills have been greatly improved. He was honored to join the U10 team and start playing games. U10 is the team that has won 6 consecutive St George regional championships. The team manager and coach lead this excellent team to provide a very positive and confident platform for children who are just starting out in basketball to express themselves. Get kids to love basketball and do it in a confident way. As a parent, I think knights can not only provide professional advice and guidance in basketball, but also the whole team has a very harmonious atmosphere and well-organized management. I am very lucky to have found such a team that both children and parents like.

Knights Basketball Testimonials | Maxwell Mo

"Ever since I picked up a basketball for the first time, I've truly enjoyed playing with my teammates. I am very grateful for the opportunity to become a team captain for the U10's at Knight. And I look forward to working with my team in the upcoming seasons."

The Knight Basketball Club provides children with opportunities for healthy growth and active exercise. Since joining Knight, Maxwell, who was initially a quiet and not very sporty child, gradually transformed into an active team player. This significant change can be attributed to the professional guidance of the coaches and the chance to participate in U10 matches.

The Knights U10 White is a well-established team in the St. George area, boosting an impressive streak of six consecutive championships. For Maxwell, the past few seasons have been significant challenges. And as parents, we are proud of his membership in Knight and even more delighted with the sense of responsibility he has cultivated through these matches.
